Holograms is cited as a major inspiration for the 2011 output of computer dreams, Vektroid and INTERNET CLUB — which places it upstream of the year everyone treats as the genre's beginning. The artist is anonymous, based in Queens, and released under 骨架的 from 2010 until around 2019 before switching to 骷, a closer translation of the same name.
