Windows 96
Windows 96 is an electronic music project by the Brazilian composer and producer Gabriel Eduardo, combining synth and vaporwave with psychedelia and video-game music.
Its label lists One Hundred Mornings and Glass Prism in 2020 and Magic Peaks in 2021, with One Hundred Mornings the record most often named — enough of a fixture to carry a deluxe vinyl edition.
The project belongs to the generation that arrived after the founding argument was settled: less concerned with what could be sampled, more with what the aesthetic sounds like when composed outright.
