Stretched the genre into slushwave

Slushwave is the ambient branch of vaporwave: immersive soundscapes built from single samples dissolved into delay and reverb, with tracks routinely past ten minutes. Wikipedia names t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 as its representative artist, and the term is generally traced to him around 2013.
He is one half of 2814 with HKE, the duo whose Birth of a New Day (2015) proved the aesthetic could be made without samples at all, and he collaborated on Dream Catalogue at its founding in January 2014.
2814's listed active years end in 2020. Laurila revived the Telepath alias in 2025 with Dawn Arrives, his first classic-style slushwave release in a decade, and played George Clanton's ElectroniCON that year.
