Fourteen albums before the genre had a name for itself

Internet Club

Internet Club is one of the reasons no one can name a single first vaporwave record. Burnett put out six albums in 2011 — New Millenium Concepts, Webinar, Beyond The Zone, Modern Business Collection, Deluxe, The Sharper — and eight more across 2012, including Dreams 3D, Underwater Mirage, Redefining The Workplace, Vanishing Vision, Pure Trance and Final Tears.

The method sits at the plunderphonic end of the genre rather than the eccojams end. Freed From The World is described as a collage of super-brief snippets of old Japanese commercials — closer to signalwave's use of found broadcast than to a slowed pop loop.

The run effectively stops after 2012, with Sound Canvas following in 2019. Burnett later moved to making noise collages as DJ Internet Visions.
